Adele J. McCarty is a local professional artist. She was born and raised right here in Hickory, North Carolina. Her God given gift and passion for art was recognized at a young age. And that passion gave her the drive to pursue it as a career. She received her Bachelor of Fine Art in Design from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Adele began a business in 1999 that she named “Divine Creations.” The concept behind this business is to bring individuals’ or groups’ creative ideas to life. And she does this by painting unique beautiful custom paintings, murals, illustrations, etc. Adele also sells her lovely paintings of various subjects to grace your walls.
Adele has been blessed with many opportunities. One opportunity led her to be featured in “Our State” magazine as well as UNC-TV where she designed and completed a mural honoring the 1964 Ridgeview High School football team of Hickory, NC who were undefeated and unscored upon.
