I’m Teresa Icenhour, from Hickory NC. I’m an artist and a potter. I paint in watercolor, acrylic, and oils. My landscapes are usually from around my home and land that was passed from my parents, or from traveling around North Carolina and other states. In addition to landscapes, I also draw portraits and pet portraits, mostly on commission. Around 8-9 years ago, I discovered my love of creating in clay. My pottery studio is at my home overlooking the pond that my Dad built. This is why my studio is named Waters Edge. I enjoy making and teaching pottery. My work is a mix of wheel thrown and handbuilt pieces. I Iove the symmetry of wheel thrown pieces, but I also love the organic look and feel of handbuilt pottery.
