Teena Stewart from Hickory, NC. I make fine art, glass art and gifts, art prints, cards… I could no more stop being creative than I could stop breathing. As a kid I was very shy and sick a lot with asthma, so art became a good outlet for me. I studied art and writing in college as an adult. I hope to lift people’s spirits, connecting them with the Creator and creation through my art. My work encourages them to color outside the lines and return to that free-spirited state of play they once knew as children. Whenever possible, I use recycled materials, embracing the message of something discarded being valued and about being good stewards of the earth.
